Teradata OLE DB Provider alternatives

Hi,
 
I am trying to run some teradata queries through Excel's VBA environment, i have installed active x drivers in excel, and then i realised that one needs Teradata OLE DB provider to run these queries through VBA, but unfortunately my company's policies do not permit me to get it installed, is there any other way i can connect teradata with excel ( just like SAS) to run some queries?. I am relatively new to teradata, your help is much appreciated!
